Bah humbug! Christmas is over and now you have to take your tree and put it away. Let's show you how to take it apart. So reach in, lift it up. The wire is still connected so make sure that you disconnect it before you put it away. If you have an LED tree, just unscrew, pull it apart, and then you're disconnected.
If you have an incandescent tree, you just unplug, And go. As you take each section off, they're going to be plucked. So just give it a little hug. Hug that tree so you can get it in the box or the bag. Just repeat for each section. Unpluck, and give it a hug. Before you take out the last section, loosen the eye bolt so the tree will come out.
Last section. Unplug it from the wall. Take it out of the stand. Don't forget about the stand. The stand is important because you need it next year. Flip it on over. And give it a little hug. I love you National Tree. Once you've loosened the eye bolt, collapse the stand. And make sure you keep it with your tree.
You're going to need it next year. When disassembling your tree, if you have the pole protector, use it. Just slip it on the end and you can store it away. But if you don't and didn't keep them, it's okay. A lot of people ask, how do you get the tree back in the box? It's not easy. You gotta smoosh it and hug it and get it in there.
And you can. Or you could just buy a tree bag. Make your life easier. You're welcome. Hope that helps. For more tips and tricks, go to our website, nationaltree. com, and follow us on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.
