    Tartan Wreath

    I absolutely love this wreath because it’s got the tartan in it, which is a nice nod to my Scottish mother. I don’t normally spend this much on a wreath but because it was so beautiful and I’ve been wanting one for years, I thought maybe this time, I’ll just buy a really decent one and it will last for years. When this came, I couldn’t help but be a little disappointed because the tartan was pulling away from the wire in the flowers in one or two spots. Of course, with the mail delivery, it comes all smashed and I had to fluff it up. I’ve had it for two years now and last year, because my door is not protected from the elements, the fabric is pulling away from the flower wires even more. For the cost of this wreath, you would think that this would never be an issue. I’m sure it’s nothing that a little hot glue gun wouldn’t fix but I definitely shouldn’t have to repair it straight out of the box. Having said that, overall it is a beautiful wreath and I usually get compliments on it. I just have to remember to remove the batteries every season so they don’t leak battery acid in the container over the summer.
